Workshop Overview

Join Women's Shed Canberra for a unique and engaging team-building experience where Bendigo Bank staff will discover the art of pyrography (wood burning) while creating a personalised timber coaster or decorative plaque to take home.

Guided by experienced Women's Shed Canberra facilitators, participants will learn basic wood-burning techniques on a choice of disk, square or a rectangle piece of soft timber. Team members get to design their own artwork, and enjoy a relaxed, hands-on creative activity that encourages connection, conversation, and collaboration.

The activity will be followed by a cheese platter and drinks.

What Participants Will Experience

• Introduction to pyrography and safe wood-burning techniques
• Design and creation of a personalised timber coaster or plaque
• A creative and relaxing team-building activity
• Opportunities to connect with colleagues in an informal setting
• A unique handmade item to take home

Community Impact

By participating in this workshop, Bendigo Bank staff will also be supporting the community impact work of Women's Shed Canberra to build confidence, social connections and pathways into trades and other non-traditional industries for women.

Together, we can create, connect, and contribute to a stronger community.
