At Women’s Shed Canberra, we pause this ANZAC Day to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all who have served—and continue to serve—our communities and country. Lest We Forget is more than a phrase; it’s a commitment to remember and reflect.
This year, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the veterans and service personnel among us—including those within our own Shed. We are especially proud to recognise the contributions of Lorraine, one of our dedicated members and volunteers, and Rachel, our Project Coordinator. Both have served their country and now continue to serve their community through their leadership, care, and hands-on work at the Shed. Their stories and commitment enrich our shared space in countless ways.

We also acknowledge that public holidays such as ANZAC Day can be emotionally complex—especially for those who may be far from family or feeling the weight of memories. At Women’s Shed Canberra, we strive to be a place where no one feels alone.
