Welcome to Women’s Shed Canberra (WSC), where the hum of power tools, the laughter of friends, and the spirit of community blend to create something truly special. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where women of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, orientations and abilities can build practical skills, gain confidence using tools, foster social connection, and become more self-sufficient. Through hands-on workshops, community programs and pathways into trades and non-traditional skills, we support women to build confidence, independence, wellbeing and belonging. We promote gender equality and contribute to the circular economy by encouraging women to create, repair, restore, reuse and upcycle.
