We offer a variety of workshop structures designed to allow participants to progress through different stages of a project or build on their knowledge.
As outlined in our Terms & Conditions, refunds for event tickets (including workshops, eCourses, or team-building sessions) can be requested by written email at least 48 hours before the event. Refund requests made within 48 hours of the event will not be accepted, except under exceptional circumstances at WSC’s sole discretion.
- Materials ($35, 21%): Wood, hardware, consumables, project supplies
- Facilitator Fee ($75, 46%): Expert instruction, planning, preparation time
- Venue & Utilities ($15, 9%): Space rental, electricity, bin hire
- Tools & Equipment ($20, 12%): Maintenance, replacement, upgrades of shared equipment
- Insurance ($10, 6%): Public liability, equipment insurance, and participant injury coverage
- Administration ($10, 6%): Booking systems, communication, documentation
Total: $165 (100%)
Yes as our workshop series build on each other progressively. For example, the Coffee Table Series allocated 8 hours across four sessions to guide you through the build from start to finish. This ensures you get the most out of your learning experience and take home a completed project.
Visitors are welcome to visit during our Drop-in session hours to meet our members, see our workshop space, and get a feel for the types of projects we work on.
Please note that while visitors are welcome to observe only, due to insurance requirements, only paid members can use tools and equipment in the shed.
