As a Qualified Facilitator at Women’s Shed Canberra (WSC), you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring our members through various hands-on projects and workshops. This position involves teaching essential trade skills, supervising projects, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. You will work closely with our team to enhance the learning experience and ensure safety and quality in all activities.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and educational trade skills workshops tailored to diverse skill levels.
- Supervise and assist members with ongoing projects, ensuring safety and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement creative and effective instructional materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging member participation and skill development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during workshops or projects.
- Provide feedback and support to help members achieve their goals and build confidence in their abilities.
Must Have
- Proven experience in a trade discipline (e.g., carpentry, metalwork, plumbing, etc.) with a relevant qualification or certification.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and proactively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
