We operate with a strict cancellation and rescheduling policy to ensure we can continue offering these unique sessions and planning effectively for all participants.
- Cancellations:
All bookings are final. We do not offer refunds for cancellations or change of mind. This policy helps us maintain small group sizes and allocate resources fairly. - Rescheduling (7 Days’ Notice Required):
If you are unable to attend, you may reschedule your booking with at least 7 days’ notice. A $20 rescheduling fee applies. - Cancellations Within 7 Days of Workshop:
Bookings cancelled within 7 days of a workshop cannot be rescheduled or refunded. You are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member if you can no longer attend. - Hardship or Emergencies:
We understand that genuine emergencies or unexpected hardship may arise. In such cases, please contact us directly. While refunds are not available, we may offer customer credit toward a future workshop at our discretion. - WSC-Cancelled Workshops:
If Women's Shed Canberra cancels a session for any reason, you will be offered the choice of a credit toward a future workshop or event, or a refund.

Yes as our workshop series build on each other progressively. For example, the Coffee Table Series allocated 8 hours across four sessions to guide you through the build from start to finish. This ensures you get the most out of your learning experience and take home a completed project.
Visitors are welcome to visit during our Drop-in session hours to meet our members, see our workshop space, and get a feel for the types of projects we work on.
Please note that while visitors are welcome to observe only, due to insurance requirements, only paid members can use tools and equipment in the shed.
